Finished playing both Splinter Cell 1 and Pandora Tomorrow. Very good games, if a little heavy on savescumming being almost mandatory due to some trial-and-error gameplay.

Wish Ubisoft didn't abandon what made the series unique (sneaking around in the darkness) with everything past Chaos Theory. I miss my SC-20K with a variety of launcher ammunition (sticky camera, shocker, airfoil, etc) especially.

Why didn't Blacklist bring back the SC-20K and the OCP attachment on the Five SeveN? "Return to form," my ass. Blacklist also added in a crapton of daytime missions where you can't hide in the shadows at all, which feels completely against the point of Splinter Cell if you can't actually hide in the dark.

SO, change of plans:

My game PC just had an issue with Windows Update. And to fix it, I had to repair my Windows installation. But in doing so, I somehow wiped ALL my progress in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Which means I gotta replay back up to where we were.

So yeah, we're not playing Blacklist today.

BUT!!!

Instead, I'm gonna check out the new Crowd Control update for Cursed Halo! A Halo mod by InfernoPlus. (The Crowd Control part being majorly made by PistachioOfDoom)

All you Twitch viewers that have been stockpiling channel points (you know who you are) will be able to redeem them for CC coins. You can then use those to directly affect my gameplay! And apparently there's a LOOOOOT of effects you can redeem.

I know this change is really out of the blue. But I hope to see people join! It should be a lot of fun! Stream begins at our usual 7pm (CT).
